AXL05 Lithium Iron Light Weight Battery for front mounting position on the Zero chassis.
This type of battery technology allows the battery to be mounted both vertically or horizontally on vehicles due to their sealed dry cell design.
Terminal connection on the battery is lug mounted (M6) offering two mount positions vertical and forward facing.
Charging must be conducted using an appropriate lithium compliant specification charger, these available separately (PS-20CH), the battery having a charge current input range of 6 – 12 amps maximum.
Weight of the AXL05 comes in at 1.95kg giving a massive weight saving advantage over conventional batteries. Which has a great advantage in motorsport applications where you’re looking to save that extra kilo/pound.
