AIM IVA Compliant ‘Plug and Play’ Kit Car Race Dash Kit is the road legal - MOT approved, IVA compliant digital dash display, is a complete road legal display solution.
The kit has pre-configured, simple wiring connections, for all the relevant electrical items of your vehicle such as Indicators, Lights, Fuel Gauge, Hazard Lights, Handbrake Warning etc
The key to the system, is the application of Aim Vehicle Interface (VIM) Module, designed to integrate with the Aim Strada Dash Display, to offer a ‘Plug & Play’ easy installation of your vehicle electrics. This is all connected to your vehicle’s Engine ECU, to allow easily configurable warning lights and gauges as well as Speed / Gears Revs etc.

The AiM MXS 1.2 Strada IVA Compliant dash kit has a 5" colour TFT display. And is one of the most widely used dashes on road and tracks all over the world. It has a exceptional visual impact and configurable to show all the information coming from the Engine Control Unit (ECU), analogue / digital inputs, pre-defined math channels and the optional GPS Module.
This kit is the perfect solution for kit car builders. And our system allows you to see and monitor all ECU information and Odometer, Oil Temperature, Hazards, Main Beam, Engine Temperature, Front Fog, Dipped Beam, Fuel Level, Rear Fog, LH Indicator, Side Lights, Parking Brake, RH Indicator.
The MXS 1.2 Strada has a wide contrast TFT display, its visual quality is optimised as its ambient light sensor keeps the back light at the best brightness.
Connecting the MXS 1.2 Strada dash to your ECU is very simple. You can sample and display dozens of channels straight from the vehicles ECU. This is usually the quickest and easiest setup needing only 2 cable connections to the ECU instead of multiple connections to analogue sensors.
As well as the standard 14 pin wiring loom, this kit comes with an additional 23 pin loom which has pre-configured connections foe all the relevant electrical items of your vehicle such as oil temperature, engine temperature, fuel level, side lights, hazards, front & rear fog, handbrake, main beam, and left & right hand indicator. Speed sensor has also been included for connecting to this additional loom.
